Hannah Wentworth was born November 11, 1765, in Bennington, Vermont, to American Revolutionary War Patriot James Wentworth and his wife, Letitia Tilden. On February 17, 1791, Hannah married Joseph Chase at Plymouth, Massachusetts. She died in Michigan on February 11, 1818. On October 15, 1939, the Ezra Parker Chapter, NSDAR, dedicated a bronze marker in her honor at her grave in the historic Royal Oak Cemetery in Royal Oak, Michigan.
